Conclusion
Halloo offers a viable option if you want an 800 number and do not plan on using a lot of minutes per month. Halloo offers two comparable 800 number service options. The first, called the "Solo Starter", includes no minutes, but only costs $1.95 per month. With the Solo Starter plan, each minute is billed at 9.9¢/minute. The second option is the Solo M-100 package which includes 100 minutes and costs $9.95 per month. The overage rate for this place is 6.9¢/minute. This means that if you plan on receiving more than 81 minutes worth of calls per month, the Solo M-100 package is a better deal for you.
Halloo’s most attractive feature is the ability to obtain an 800 number for both of their plans at no additional cost. You can also receive an 866, 877, or 888 number at no additional charge. The ability to port your number for free is also a feature which is unique to Halloo. With Halloo you are somewhat limited in terms of phone system functionality, but you do have access to some of the basic features such as voicemail-to-email and find-me.
