Plan Reviewed: Professional
Pros
- 888, 877 or 866 number included at no extra cost
- Port your existing 800, 888, 877 or 866 number at no extra charge
- Full phone system functionality
Cons
- High per minute overage rate
- Below market standard amount of included minutes
Conclusion
With an 800, 888, 877, or 866 number from RingCentral you also receive all of the features and benefits of a fully functional virtual pbx phone system. You also receive a discount for signing up for an annual plan instead of month to month. It should be noted however that at any time you can receive a prorated refund if you sign up for an annual plan.
One downside is that RingCentral charges one of the highest overage rates in this price range (6.7¢/minute). Also, their 100 included minutes is well below our market standard of 150 for this price level. Customized vanity numbers are available for a $30 one-time charge and 800 numbers are available for a one time $15 fee. Both of these prices are just at our market standard.
